Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jonas Törnqvist kicked off to start the match. Gösta Palm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Örtlund having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Toinho United's zone, Andreas Lööf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mattias Fastesson came out of the goal and Andreas Lööf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Törnqvist in the 10th minute of play forced Toinho United's goalkeeper Mattias Fastesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas Lööf got in the 12th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Mattias Fastesson handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Malcolm Siöman in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michael Örtlund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gösta Palm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Michael Örtlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michael Örtlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malcolm Siöman in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ljung's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Elliot Termander was slow to take the kick. During this time Toinho United's players had a chance to rest. Gösta Palm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Michael Örtlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gösta Palm struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Michael Örtlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toinho United. Malcolm Siöman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Michael Örtlund came out and tried to block the shot, but Malcolm Siöman slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 33rd minute. 40 minutes into the match, Ljung's goal looked a bit too open when Malcolm Siöman came free, but Michael Örtlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mattias Fastesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Törnqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Malcolm Siöman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michael Örtlund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Jakob Brun's late challenge caught a Toinho United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jakob Brun helped the player get up and apologised. 48 minutes into the match, Toinho United's Elliot Termander broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Malcolm Siöman was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Mikael Hedlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ljung's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikael Hedlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ljung's zone, Gösta Palm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Örtlund came out of the goal and Gösta Palm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th match minute, Ljung was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikael Hedlund to maneuver through the defense. Andreas Lööf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Michael Örtlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malcolm Siöman, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Jens-Åke Berglund charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jens-Åke Berglund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th match minute, Ljung was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Åke Berglund to maneuver through the defense. Ingemar Classon's late challenge caught a Ljung's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ingemar Classon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd minute, Ingemar Classon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mattias Fastesson came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Ljung's Andreas Lööf. But to his dismay, Andreas Lööf quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Mattias Fastesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Törnqvist in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malcolm Siöman in the 86th minute of play forced Ljung's goalkeeper Michael Örtlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Malcolm Siöman took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michael Örtlund. Michael Örtlund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. If Gösta Palm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Gösta Palm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Toinho United were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
