The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Spartak Fridhem getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Jarl Jönsson hit a great ball. Jan Forssberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Adam Finman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fredric Hellbom made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Sebastian Hägglund sent off a good shot on target. 13 minutes into the match, Bican Erva dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fredric Hellbom, 1-0. If Bican Erva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 17th minute, Bican Erva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Spartak Fridhem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Fredric Hellbom came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Spartak Fridhem's Bican Erva. But to his dismay, Bican Erva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Gävle RK's zone, Bican Erva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fredric Hellbom came out of the goal and Bican Erva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gävle RK's goalkeeper Fredric Hellbom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fredric Hellbom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cosme Abeliuk went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 35 minutes into the match, Spartak Fridhem's Bican Erva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fredric Hellbom narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot 45 in the game by Bican Erva from a close distance when the talented Fredric Hellbom managed to make a qualified save. Gävle RK's players were relieved. Bican Erva struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Fredric Hellbom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spartak Fridhem. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henry Ahlquist to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Bican Erva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spartak Fridhem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bican Erva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bican Erva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bican Erva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredric Hellbom having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Ture Kråk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Spartak Fridhem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 75th minute, Bican Erva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michael Gerdberg during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Spartak Fridhem's Adam Finman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Spartak Fridhem from getting a goal against them. Gävle RK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. There was no doubt that Spartak Fridhem were the better team. Spartak Fridhem's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
