Kalle Jakobsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henry Ahlquist's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Magnus Rolandsson struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Fredric Hellbom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arjeplog FK. In the 12th minute, Per Fors made a precise shot to the right of Fredric Hellbom. Gävle RK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Fredric Hellbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Fors, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Per Fors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredric Hellbom having to interfere. Gävle RK's Fredric Hellbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Överman in the 24th minute of play. Edgar Överman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Fredric Hellbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gävle RK's Fredric Hellbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Överman in the 31st minute of play. In the 35th minute, Per Fors ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fredric Hellbom was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Per Fors came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Arjeplog FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per Fors couldn't finish the play. Henry Ahlquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalle Jakobsson having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Arjeplog FK's Kalle Jakobsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Ahlquist in the 55th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Överman got free with Fredric Hellbom in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jan Forssberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Överman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Fredric Hellbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgar Överman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredric Hellbom having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Gävle RK got a freekick which was hit by Björn Öman. In the 71st minute, Edgar Överman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Per Fors in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fredric Hellbom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albert Algren kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Arjeplog FK's Edgar Överman got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Gävle RK booed when Arjeplog FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolf Karlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jens Berg was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to Arjeplog FK getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Rudolf Karlsson hit a great ball. If Jan Forssberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edgar Överman was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 87th minute. Arjeplog FK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 95th minute, Björn Öman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
