After a defensive mix-up in Ytterhogdal IF's zone, Boris Bure stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magnus Askestät came out of the goal and Boris Bure tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Andréas Sandström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jävrebyn IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Andréas Sandström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Magnus Askestät breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute, Boris Bure made a precise shot to the right of Magnus Askestät. Ytterhogdal IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 27 minutes into the match, Ytterhogdal IF's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Bure came free, but Magnus Askestät reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boris Bure fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magnus Askestät having to interfere. The supporters of Ytterhogdal IF booed when Jävrebyn IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andréas Sandström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Björn Lööf came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Ytterhogdal IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Björn Lööf couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, Björn Lööf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Björn Lööf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jävrebyn IK's Olle Colin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Lööf in the 64th minute of play. Magnus Askestät took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andréas Sandström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jakob Sandberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olle Colin having to interfere. When Jakob Sandberg came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Ytterhogdal IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jakob Sandberg couldn't finish the play. Olle Colin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakob Sandberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Jakob Sandberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
