Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Slagnäs's David Adelsköld started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Karl Hellbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar Ekman in the 11th minute of the match. The supporters of Slagnäs booed when Grytgöl RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristoffer Håning didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Forssberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Sigman having to interfere. If Stig-Arne Petersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stig-Arne Petersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcus Sigman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Forssberg in the 32nd minute. After 32 played minutes Slagnäs got a freekick which was hit by Tim Söderberg. When Tim Söderberg fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Slagnäs's protests and gave Tim Söderberg a yellow card for diving instead. Tim Söderberg kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Sven-Arne Björkkvist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcus Sigman. Slagnäs's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Stig-Arne Petersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Forssberg in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcus Sigman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stig-Arne Petersson to make the kick off. Slagnäs's Marcus Sigman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Arne Petersson in the 51st minute of play. If Stig-Arne Petersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Arne Petersson in the 60th minute of play forced Slagnäs's goalkeeper Marcus Sigman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Forssberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Sigman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Forssberg in the 66th minute of play. Marcus Sigman came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Grytgöl RK's Felix Forssberg. But to his dismay, Felix Forssberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Valdemar Ekman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Karl Hellbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcus Sigman came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Grytgöl RK's Felix Forssberg. But to his dismay, Felix Forssberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 82ndth minute of the game Felix Forssberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Slagnäs's Marcus Sigman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Slagnäs defense, Felix Forssberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcus Sigman. The Slagnäs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Sigman should have stopped the shot. 93 minutes into the match, Slagnäs's Albert Olenberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl Hellbom narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Arne Petersson in the 95th minute of play forced Slagnäs's goalkeeper Marcus Sigman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grytgöl RK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
