When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Vilgot Fribäck put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Alfons Berg. Alfons Berg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilgot Fribäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 played minutes Ballingslöv got a freekick which was hit by Ingemar Söderman. Vilgot Fribäck hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. When Vilgot Fribäck came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Leksand BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vilgot Fribäck couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes into the match, Henrik Västerberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfons Berg. Ballingslöv's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henrik Västerberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Erland Moberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Arvidsson having to interfere. Henrik Västerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Alfons Berg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leksand BK's Vilgot Fribäck got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Vilgot Fribäck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfons Berg was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Henrik Västerberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfons Berg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilgot Fribäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vilgot Fribäck was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Vilgot Fribäck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Alfons Berg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Peter Hammarberg fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballingslöv's protests and gave Peter Hammarberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Peter Hammarberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfons Berg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Albäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The supporters of Leksand BK booed when Ballingslöv was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joacim Lundin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert Fanström hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Alfons Berg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 74 minutes, Michel Albäck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leksand BK and the Ballingslöv players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Leksand BK's Michel Albäck got a free kick in the 74th minute. Leksand BK's Jonatan Arvidsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Fagerberg in the 75th minute of play. Leksand BK's Vilgot Fribäck got his second yellow card of the match in the 78th minute. The referee ordered Vilgot Fribäck off the ground. In the 79th match minute, Leksand BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilgot Fribäck to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, Ballingslöv's goalkeeper Alfons Berg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henrik Västerberg. Henrik Västerberg struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Alfons Berg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leksand BK. Michel Albäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfons Berg having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Henrik Västerberg made a precise shot to the right of Alfons Berg. Ballingslöv's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Alfons Berg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Albäck in the 97th minute of the match. When the match was over Leksand BK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ballingslöv throughout the match.
