From close distance Hans Källberg pressed in the 1-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 6 minutes into the game. After a defensive mix-up in Axvall's zone, Alex Söderquist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jim Pettersson came out of the goal and Alex Söderquist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the match, Axvall's Hans Källberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joar Albohm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bror Melander kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. When Torsten Örn came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Axvall fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torsten Örn couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Söderquist in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jim Pettersson saved Axvall from getting behind. A collision led to Axvall getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Oskar Lundberg hit a great ball. Joar Albohm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oskar Lundberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When Hans Källberg came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Axvall fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans Källberg couldn't finish the play. If Torsten Örn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freddie Walroth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the game, Ransäter RK's Alex Söderquist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jim Pettersson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ted Lövkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ted Lövkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute, one of Axvall:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Axvall. When Axvall's Torsten Örn in 42 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Joar Albohm guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Hans Källberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ransäter RK's Joar Albohm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torsten Örn in the 44th minute of play. Hans Källberg struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Joar Albohm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Axvall. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Torsten Örn to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Hans Källberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Axvall fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After 57 minutes, Jim Grelsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Axvall and the Ransäter RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ransäter RK booed when Axvall was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timmy Skoglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the game, one of Ransäter RK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Axvall a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ted Lövkvist, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ransäter RK's Joar Albohm. 3-2. 77 minutes into the game, Axvall's Torsten Örn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joar Albohm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Källberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Isak Soned hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Axvall's Torsten Örn in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ransäter RK's goalie prevented a goal.
