Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peking Animals's Josef Albohm got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Josef Albohm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Birger Jakobsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Evert Kjellqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Birger Jakobsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Åke Danielsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Birger Jakobsson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Peking Animals's Jens-Åke Danielsson shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Jens-Åke Danielsson charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jens-Åke Danielsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd match minute, Peking Animals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Åke Danielsson to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Peking Animals's Karl-Erik Ljungberg got control of the ball when Wictor Billvall tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karl-Erik Ljungberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evert Kjellqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute Karl-Åke Västerstrand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birger Jakobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evert Kjellqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Verner Mager's late challenge caught a bollkickers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Verner Mager helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of bollkickers FC booed when Peking Animals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Verner Mager didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evert Kjellqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Karl-Erik Ljungberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Peking Animals getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Jens-Åke Danielsson hit a great ball. After 72 minutes, Evert Kjellqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the bollkickers FC and the Peking Animals players grew even worse after the yellow card. 88 minutes into the game, Stefan Öberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peking Animals's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave bollkickers FC the free kick. Birger Jakobsson was a little too slow when Josef Albohm got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 0-3. Peking Animals played a much better game than bollkickers FC and deserved their victory. The bollkickers FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
