Östen Wiklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egon Borre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 63 minutes of play, Malmköping's Otto Hääger made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sören Benet was left in no man's land by his defense there! Otto Hääger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the game, Jörn Stenberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gysinge FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malmköping the free kick. Jörn Stenberg hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Östen Wiklund went to the wrong direction when Elliott Ennegren was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Östen Wiklund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peder Bruse's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Otto Hääger was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 99th minute. Malmköping's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Malmköping were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Gysinge FF's much stronger midfield.
