After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Joseph Karlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sirius Lokers's supporters rose to their feet, but Joseph Karlsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paul Qvalfeldt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th minute Joseph Karlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Qvalfeldt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Karl-Erik Kämpe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sirius Lokers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dark Star the free kick. Egil Blomqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Strand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 played minutes Sirius Lokers got a freekick which was hit by Olov Kellberg. Max Mikaelsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Paul Qvalfeldt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 30th minute Joseph Karlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Qvalfeldt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Dark Star's goalkeeper Paul Qvalfeldt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Max Mikaelsson. Paul Qvalfeldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Karlsson in the 34th minute of the match. After having played for 36 minutes, Joseph Karlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sirius Lokers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joseph Karlsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Joseph Karlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joseph Karlsson was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Karl-Erik Kämpe suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. When John Kullgren fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dark Star's protests and gave John Kullgren a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Dark Star's John Kullgren got a free kick in the 55th minute. Stig Strand was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 61st minute. Dark Star's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Egil Blomqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Aleberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, Max Mikaelsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Dark Star eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
