Lilla edet FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arsenal FC the free kick. In the 11th minute, Fabian Sjögren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute Martin Vester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marc Alrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anders Svensson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marc Alrot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Anders Svensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Örjan Kämpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Hedkvist having to interfere. Leo Hedkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Örjan Kämpe's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. After 25 minutes of play, Lilla edet FF's Stefan Lund made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leo Hedkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stefan Lund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Hedkvist having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Örjan Kämpe in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leo Hedkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anders Svensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Marc Alrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marc Alrot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anders Svensson went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Anders Svensson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arsenal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anders Svensson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marc Alrot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Vester to strike the kick off in the second half. 61 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC's goalkeeper Leo Hedkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stefan Lund. Martin Vester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Marc Alrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lilla edet FF's Örjan Kämpe got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Örjan Kämpe in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leo Hedkvist saved Arsenal FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Dag Strömbom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lilla edet FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Dag Strömbom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Hedkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st minute Örjan Kämpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Hedkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Lilla edet FF booed when Arsenal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Granström didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 83 in the game by Stefan Lund from a close distance when the talented Leo Hedkvist managed to make a qualified save. Arsenal FC's players were relieved. Leo Hedkvist stood somewhat misplaced when Stefan Lund came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 88 minute. If Stefan Lund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Lilla edet FF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Arsenal FC.
