Anders Lind sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paul Svensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Lind, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herman Fransson during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Herman Fransson kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute of the match Evert Åkerman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henning Lindholm showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 14th minute, Valentin Martinsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Färjestaden fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Greger Ekblom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Henning Lindholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paul Svensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anders Lind, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 played minutes Deportivo la Corona got a freekick which was hit by Richard Jonsson. Färjestaden's Henning Lindholm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Färjestaden from getting a goal against them. After having played for 27 minutes, Greger Ekblom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo la Corona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Greger Ekblom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anders Lind took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paul Svensson. Paul Svensson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Valentin Martinsson struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Paul Svensson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Färjestaden. In the 41st match minute, Deportivo la Corona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johan Lundhberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute Anders Lind shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Svensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Deportivo la Corona players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Färjestaden were winning 0-2.

Deportivo la Corona's Paul Svensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Lind in the 58th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Anders Lind took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Paul Svensson to make any attempt to save it. Anders Lind fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Svensson having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Richard Jonsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henning Lindholm was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. A collision led to Deportivo la Corona getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Roger Collin hit a great ball. 83 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Färjestaden's Anders Lind fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo la Corona's zone, Valentin Martinsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Svensson came out of the goal and Valentin Martinsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Deportivo la Corona's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Anders Lind 91 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. 96 minutes into the match, Richard Jonsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henning Lindholm. Färjestaden's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Richard Jonsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Färjestaden's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
