Greger Ekblom started the match with the kick off. Johanneshov's Oscar Haglund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Greger Ekblom in the 8th minute of play. Deportivo la Corona's Greger Ekblom was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 14th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the last second Oscar Haglund throw himself and got hold of the ball when Greger Ekblom in the 18thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. If Aron Westerstrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Greger Ekblom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Haglund was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Per-Oskar Fransson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Haglund made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Richard Jonsson sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Johanneshov booed when Deportivo la Corona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Collin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manfred Godholm took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paul Svensson. Deportivo la Corona's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Oscar Haglund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Greger Ekblom in the 36th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Aron Westerstrand made the kick off in the second half. Greger Ekblom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Haglund having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Johanneshov's Paul Svensson threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aron Westerstrand, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 56 minutes, Edmund Berggren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo la Corona and the Johanneshov players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Deportivo la Corona getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Edmund Berggren hit a great ball. Aron Westerstrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Greger Ekblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Deportivo la Corona. Evert Åkerman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Oscar Haglund. 2-0. Per-Oskar Fransson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Paul Svensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th match minute, Deportivo la Corona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmund Berggren to maneuver through the defense. After 78 played minutes Deportivo la Corona got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Berggren. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Greger Ekblom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo la Corona's supporters rose to their feet, but Greger Ekblom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Haglund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Deportivo la Corona defense, Per-Oskar Fransson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paul Svensson. The Deportivo la Corona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paul Svensson should have stopped the shot. In the 89th match minute, Johanneshov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Skark to maneuver through the defense. Evert Åkerman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oscar Haglund. Johanneshov's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Deportivo la Corona's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
