Erling Östensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Mattias Brogren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oskar Norberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Strömbom having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Erling Östensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Oskar Norberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zinkgruvan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Ytterby's Emanuel Strömbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Norberg in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olof Åkerberg was the one to do the kick off. A hard shot 56 in the game by Erling Östensson from a close distance when the talented Emanuel Strömbom managed to make a qualified save. Ytterby's players were relieved.
