Roger Andersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erland Hjortberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erland Hjortberg in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Andersson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 14 minutes into the match, K.L. FLAMENGO's goal looked a bit too open when Erland Hjortberg came free, but Roger Andersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Maximilian Vibjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthias Lindberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, K.L. FLAMENGO's goal looked a bit too open when Erland Hjortberg came free, but Roger Andersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erland Hjortberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Andersson having to interfere. Tobias Lundgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximilian Vibjörnsson hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobias Lundgren in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roger Andersson saved K.L. FLAMENGO from getting behind. Mönsterås's Tobias Lundgren got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Ström in the 45th minute of play forced Mönsterås's goalkeeper Matthias Lindberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erland Hjortberg in the 47th minute of play forced K.L. FLAMENGO's goalkeeper Roger Andersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erland Hjortberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in K.L. FLAMENGO's zone, Tobias Lundgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Andersson came out of the goal and Tobias Lundgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patrick Törnblom kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Lennart Ström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthias Lindberg having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Maximilian Vibjörnsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. K.L. FLAMENGO's Lennart Ström got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tobias Lundgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Roger Andersson made a huge save. When Mönsterås's Erland Hjortberg in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye K.L. In the 75th minute, Gösta Jonsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tobias Lundgren in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Roger Andersson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Erland Hjortberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tobias Lundgren succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 86th playminute. After a defensive mix-up in K.L. FLAMENGO's zone, Tobias Lundgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Andersson came out of the goal and Tobias Lundgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Tobias Lundgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mönsterås's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Lundgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Andersson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Mönsterås players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
