If Alvar Blixt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Petter Kråk came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Ödskölt IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petter Kråk couldn't finish the play. If Alvar Blixt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute of the match, Petter Kråk tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ove Isaksson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Hjälteby IK booed when Ödskölt IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukas Jansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus Sundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Smitt having to interfere. The supporters of Hjälteby IK booed when Ödskölt IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukas Jansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oskar Elg, 17 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 22nd minute, Alvar Blixt made a precise shot to the right of Ove Isaksson. Hjälteby IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Petter Kråk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Isaksson having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hjälteby IK's Helge Kiempe got a free kick in the 27th minute. Lukas Jansson kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcus Sundström during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcus Sundström hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ödskölt IF's zone, Mark Rosen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingvar Smitt came out of the goal and Mark Rosen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alvar Blixt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ove Isaksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcus Sundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Smitt having to interfere. Ödskölt IF's Petter Kråk got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcus Sundström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alvar Blixt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ove Isaksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvar Blixt in the 56th minute of the match. Ove Isaksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petter Kråk in the 59th minute of play. Helge Kiempe charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Helge Kiempe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd match minute, Hjälteby IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helge Kiempe to maneuver through the defense. When Alvar Blixt, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 63 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ove Isaksson was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 72 minutes into the game, Nils Söderström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hjälteby IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ödskölt IF the free kick. After having played for 77 minutes, Mark Rosen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hjälteby IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mark Rosen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eric Hedlund during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79thth minute of the game Marcus Sundström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ödskölt IF's Ingvar Smitt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alvar Blixt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ove Isaksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvar Blixt might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ove Isaksson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvar Blixt ran back to his position shaking his head. When Ödskölt IF's Petter Kråk in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hjälteby IK's goalie prevented a goal. Ödskölt IF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
