Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Carl Bäcklin made the kick off which started today's match. Mats Almkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Allan Lundqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 2nd minute of play. In the 6thth minute of the game Harry Pedersson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skinnskatteberg's Allan Lundqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 6 played minutes Skinnskatteberg got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Askestät. In the 9th minute, Göran Johansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mats Almkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Carl Bäcklin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivar Blom was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. When Victor Heggert fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lärbro's protests and gave Victor Heggert a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Carl Bäcklin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 42 minutes, Carl Bäcklin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skinnskatteberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carl Bäcklin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Allan Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Almkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Skinnskatteberg's Göran Johansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivar Blom narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Skinnskatteberg's Carl Bäcklin in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lärbro's goalie prevented a goal. Ivar Blom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Göran Johansson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ivar Blom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Bäcklin in the 79th minute of play forced Lärbro's goalkeeper Ivar Blom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Lärbro's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Johansson came free, but Ivar Blom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carl Bäcklin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carl Bäcklin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ivar Blom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Skinnskatteberg fully deserved thier win.
