In the 6th minute, Åke Ahlbeck made a precise shot to the right of Frans Drewitz. Södra Vi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Södra Vi's Frans Drewitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Ahlbeck in the 10th minute of play. Frans Drewitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rutger Pihlblad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Södra Vi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilbert Petersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, The Ginger Kids's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Petersson came free, but Svante Ahlrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Svante Ahlrot came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Södra Vi's Lukas Håkansson. But to his dismay, Lukas Håkansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The supporters of Södra Vi booed when The Ginger Kids was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktor Martinsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Svante Ahlrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Petersson in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Åke Ahlbeck was the one to do the kick off. Lukas Håkansson scored 2-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Svante Ahlrot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Åke Ahlbeck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frans Drewitz was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. If Lukas Håkansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. Södra Vi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Åke Ahlbeck scored to the left of an out of position Frans Drewitz, making the score, 2-2. Gilbert Petersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Svante Ahlrot having to interfere. Lukas Håkansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frans Drewitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Ahlbeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rutger Pihlblad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Frans Drewitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Rutger Pihlblad sped through Södra Vi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Frans Drewitz. The The Ginger Kids players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
