The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Helge Åström during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arne Uggla charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jon Arenius showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 74th minute, Karl-Ove Ahlerot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
