After some careless play in the Köpmannebro defense, Alf Sandström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henning Stenquist. The Köpmannebro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henning Stenquist should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Köpmannebro's Ingvar Skoog slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of August Eriksson. That made the score 1-1 after 18 minutes of play. In the 22ndth minute of the game Ingvar Skoog who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ompa's August Eriksson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 23 played minutes Ompa got a freekick which was hit by Sven Nordgren. August Eriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Skoog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Magnus Klementsson notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Köpmannebro's Henning Stenquist. Henning Stenquist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Ompa's Alf Sandström in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Köpmannebro's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Köpmannebro getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Marko Lindgren hit a great ball. If Alf Sandström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 55th minute Alf Sandström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Stenquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Köpmannebro getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Adrian Rudkvist hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ompa's Jonny Mogren got a free kick in the 61st minute. Magnus Klementsson struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Henning Stenquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ompa. After a defensive mix-up in Ompa's zone, Ingvar Skoog stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. August Eriksson came out of the goal and Ingvar Skoog tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alf Sandström in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henning Stenquist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alf Sandström might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henning Stenquist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alf Sandström ran back to his position shaking his head. Alf Sandström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Henning Stenquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henning Stenquist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Magnus Klementsson in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Sandström in the 83rd minute of play forced Köpmannebro's goalkeeper Henning Stenquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Köpmannebro's Ingvar Skoog sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that August Eriksson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Alf Sandström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Henning Stenquist. That made the score 1-3 in the 86 minute of play. In the 91st minute, Magnus Klementsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henning Stenquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Sandström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Magnus Klementsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Stenquist having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Ompa left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Köpmannebro.
