Karl-Erik Askelöf charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Erik Askelöf the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Karl-Erik Askelöf kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Torgny Hamberg struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Jörgen Nordström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liden RK. Stig Jonasson made a great header on Gällivare's corner, it was just that Liden RK's Malcolm Stålberg managed to reach the ball for a save. When Esbjörn Karlsson came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Gällivare fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esbjörn Karlsson couldn't finish the play. Esbjörn Karlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Johan Åberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Gällivare's Jörgen Nordström got control of the ball when Torgny Hamberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Torgny Hamberg came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Liden RK fans jumped to their feet. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Torgny Hamberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jimmie Moberg was the one to do the kick off. Jon Hydén kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Jörgen Nordström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Torgny Hamberg went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Torgny Hamberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jörgen Nordström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes in the game, Johan Åberg fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Malcolm Stålberg having to interfere. Paul Martinsson hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Stig Jonasson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Malcolm Stålberg. Liden RK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ivan Vallengren kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. A hard shot 69 in the game by Esbjörn Karlsson from a close distance when the talented Malcolm Stålberg managed to make a qualified save. Liden RK's players were relieved. The audience was convinced that Jimmie Moberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jörgen Nordström was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Jimmie Moberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jörgen Nordström having to make a save. After having played for 80 minutes, Jimmie Moberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liden RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimmie Moberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Torgny Hamberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jon Hydén hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Gällivare's Jörgen Nordström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torgny Hamberg in the 86th minute of play. Paul Martinsson struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Jörgen Nordström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liden RK. In the 95th minute, Liden RK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Esbjörn Karlsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Esbjörn Karlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Malcolm Stålberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Liden RK had played much better football throughout.
