The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stefan Åkerberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kåre Vedholm's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. If Kåre Vedholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Henry Nyman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stefan Åkerberg was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Kåre Vedholm struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Stefan Åkerberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Astral Claws. Kåre Vedholm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Henry Nyman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Kåre Vedholm notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Undenäs BF's Stefan Åkerberg. Stefan Åkerberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stefan Åkerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Nyman in the 26th minute of play. Kåre Vedholm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Nyman in the 34th minute of play forced Undenäs BF's goalkeeper Stefan Åkerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stefan Åkerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kåre Vedholm in the 36th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kasper Bern got free with Jan-Erik Cane in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Håkan Tingelholm hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oliver Falk was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute, Ture Lönn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kåre Vedholm struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Henry Nyman was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. Astral Claws's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 86th match minute, Astral Claws was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Knut Wennersten to maneuver through the defense. If Kåre Vedholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stefan Åkerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Nyman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Håkan Tingelholm was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. A collision led to Astral Claws getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Håkan Tingelholm hit a great ball. The Undenäs BF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Astral Claws were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
