If Börje Benett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Ström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börje Benett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michael Ekerot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joachim Bergvall in the 26th minute. The supporters of Sköldinge IK booed when Dyrön was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börje Benett didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joachim Bergvall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ralf Gråberg hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, Viggo Björklund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sivert Johnsson to make the kick off. When Viggo Björklund came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Dyrön fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viggo Björklund couldn't finish the play. After 59 minutes of play, Dyrön's Börje Benett made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michael Ström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ivar Svensson hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. If Joachim Bergvall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute Sivert Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Ekerot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 minutes, Edmund Klint mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sköldinge IK and the Dyrön players grew even worse after the yellow card. 77 minutes into the match, Sköldinge IK's goalkeeper Michael Ström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Börje Benett. In the 85th minute, Sköldinge IK's Greger Kielstedt seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Greger Kielstedt the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sköldinge IK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Greger Kielstedt had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Joachim Bergvall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Michael Ekerot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Dyrön could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sköldinge IK throughout the match.
