The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Åke Morat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aneby's supporters rose to their feet, but Åke Morat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roland Skark breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7thth minute of the game Jonatan Söderström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guldhedens IK's Roland Skark was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Jonatan Söderström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roland Skark was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Sven Spets had great luck who in the 10thth minute grab hold of the ball when Hannes Browald from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 14th minute there was a penalty for Aneby. Sven-Oskar Siggman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Roland Skark. 0-1. Jonatan Söderström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Roland Skark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Bernt Strand made a precise shot to the right of Roland Skark. Guldhedens IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Guldhedens IK's zone, Jonatan Söderström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roland Skark came out of the goal and Jonatan Söderström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hannes Browald in the 32nd minute of play forced Aneby's goalkeeper Sven Spets to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Guldhedens IK's goal looked a bit too open when Bernt Strand came free, but Roland Skark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roland Skark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernt Strand, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hannes Browald stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Hannes Browald managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 62nd match minute, Aneby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Morat to maneuver through the defense. Bernt Strand's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Roland Skark skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Guldhedens IK booed when Aneby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Wik didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Aneby's Jonatan Söderström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roland Skark. That made the score 0-3 after 77 minutes of play. 81 minutes into the match, Aneby's goal looked a bit too open when Hannes Browald came free, but Sven Spets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roland Skark made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Bernt Strand sent off a good shot on target. Guldhedens IK's Roland Skark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Söderström in the 86th minute of play. If Johannes Hellström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Hannes Browald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Spets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 97 played minutes, Guldhedens IK's Tord Söderström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sven Spets came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guldhedens IK reached it. When the final whistle sounded Aneby left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Guldhedens IK.
