After having played for 6 minutes, Melker Ingemarsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Råneå IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melker Ingemarsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7th match minute, Dänske Böller i Pöse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Linus Martinsson to maneuver through the defense. Edward Björck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melker Ingemarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melker Ingemarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Linus Martinsson kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Dänske Böller i Pöse's zone, Melker Ingemarsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edward Björck came out of the goal and Melker Ingemarsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Otto Åmans short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Ture Wickander to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Per Kellman kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Dänske Böller i Pöse's Mikael Myr got a free kick in the 28th minute. If Uno Benett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dänske Böller i Pöse's Edward Björck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melker Ingemarsson in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the game, Per Kellman landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 32 minutes into the game, Jan Stigsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dänske Böller i Pöse's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Råneå IFK the free kick. In the 36th minute, Otto Åman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valter Blom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute Dänske Böller i Pöse were awarded a corner. Mikael Myr went to the cornerflag to take it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dan Pettersson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Dänske Böller i Pöse's goalkeeper Edward Björck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Melker Ingemarsson. Melker Ingemarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jan Dusett's late challenge caught a Råneå IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan Dusett helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Råneå IFK booed when Dänske Böller i Pöse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Dusett didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute Dan Pettersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ture Wickander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dänske Böller i Pöse's Dan Pettersson got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Otto Åman scored 1-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ture Wickander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 86 minutes into the match, Råneå IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Otto Åman came free, but Ture Wickander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Otto Åman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the game, Otto Åman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ture Wickander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
