Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Karl Berggren made the kick off which started today's match. Karl Berggren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute, Alfred Wennerqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Knivsta RK's Billy Nordal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Wennerqvist in the 12th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl Berggren in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Billy Nordal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Börje Torsberg hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Vikarbyn IF's Ernst Jönsson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Knivsta RK. In the 26th match minute, Knivsta RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egil Sjögren to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Karl Berggren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 30 minutes, Alfred Wennerqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vikarbyn IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfred Wennerqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Karl Berggren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vikarbyn IF's Karl Berggren got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfred Wennerqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billy Nordal having to interfere. Billy Nordal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl Berggren's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. When Karl Berggren fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vikarbyn IF's protests and gave Karl Berggren a yellow card for diving instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Viggo Ahlquist made the kick off in the second half. Knivsta RK's Billy Nordal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Berggren in the 54th minute of play. Karl Berggren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Billy Nordal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Berggren in the 58th minute of play. Alfred Wennerqvists short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Billy Nordal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Egil Sjögren fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Knivsta RK's protests and gave Egil Sjögren a yellow card for diving instead. Egil Sjögren hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Ernst Jönsson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Knivsta RK's Billy Nordal didn't even have to move. In the last second Billy Nordal throw himself and got hold of the ball when Karl Berggren in the 67thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When Alfred Wennerqvist came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Vikarbyn IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfred Wennerqvist couldn't finish the play. In the 71st match minute, Knivsta RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egil Sjögren to maneuver through the defense. 0-1 became the score in the 75th minute when Karl Berggren elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Karl Berggren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Berggren in the 80th minute of play forced Knivsta RK's goalkeeper Billy Nordal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Knivsta RK's Egil Sjögren got a free kick in the 83rd minute. With a little luck, Knivsta RK's Billy Nordal got control of the ball when Alfred Wennerqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Vikarbyn IF's Karl Berggren in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Knivsta RK's goalie prevented a goal. Billy Nordal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfred Wennerqvist in the 91st minute. Börje Torsberg hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Billy Nordal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Berggren in the 93rd minute of the match. Vikarbyn IF played a much better game than Knivsta RK and deserved their victory. The Knivsta RK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
