Tommy Ekgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sören Berg having to interfere. In the 11th minute Linus Lingren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredric Abrahamsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Linus Lingren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Malte Överman scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sören Berg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tommy Ekgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fredrik Ström's late challenge caught a Bor BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fredrik Ström helped the player get up and apologised. Tommy Ekgren in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sören Berg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 34th match minute, Hässelby FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edwin Kruuse to maneuver through the defense. Malte Överman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Sören Berg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Hässelby FK's Sören Berg got control of the ball when Tommy Ekgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 47 minutes, Rikard Vase managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hässelby FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rikard Vase was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When Fredrik Ström was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 51 minutes had been played. The supporters of Bor BK booed when Hässelby FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredrik Ström didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Tommy Ekgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sören Berg was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. If Malte Överman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Charles Bäck struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Sören Berg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bor BK. 78 minutes into the match, Hässelby FK's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Ekgren came free, but Sören Berg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kjell Jernberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st minute, Kjell Jernberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Bor BK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
