Vintrosa's Valter Hermansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torbjörn Unesson in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute, Torbjörn Unesson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee gave Vintrosa a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Christoffer Vik, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Husum's Börje Hedlund. 1-0. A collision led to Vintrosa getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Herman Ivarsson hit a great ball. Torbjörn Unesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valter Hermansson having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Christopher Lindgren notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Husum's Börje Hedlund. Börje Hedlund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 25 played minutes Vintrosa got a freekick which was hit by Tord Lundqvist. Valter Hermansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torbjörn Unesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Torbjörn Unesson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Husum fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Maximilian Lidström struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Börje Hedlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vintrosa. When Alf Fridlund came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Vintrosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alf Fridlund couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Alf Fridlund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Börje Hedlund was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. The supporters of Vintrosa booed when Husum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hubert Högström didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Fridlund in the 46th minute of play forced Husum's goalkeeper Börje Hedlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Alf Fridlund made the kick off in the second half. Fredrik Sandberg kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 55 played minutes Husum got a freekick which was hit by Hubert Högström. Alf Fridlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. The Vintrosa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valter Hermansson should have stopped the shot. 94 minutes into the match, Husum's goal looked a bit too open when Tord Lundqvist came free, but Börje Hedlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
