After some careless play in the Chelsea FC defense, Wilhelm Apelquist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hubert Cane. The Chelsea FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hubert Cane should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Chelsea FC's Verner Skytt got a free kick in the 13th minute. If Wilhelm Apelquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Mathias Rydelius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilhelm Apelquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilhelm Apelquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Cane having to interfere. Michel Lundström kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kenneth Lundgren was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Åsa IF's Jens-Erik Eckegren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hubert Cane. Hubert Cane yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Georg Elg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenneth Lundgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Wilhelm Apelquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Hubert Cane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th match minute, Chelsea FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Björn Gernberg to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Chelsea FC's Hubert Cane got control of the ball when Wilhelm Apelquist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mathias Rydelius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilhelm Apelquist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hubert Cane having to make a save. Jens-Erik Eckegren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Kenneth Lundgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chelsea FC's Hubert Cane proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Chelsea FC from getting a goal against them.
