Though ot was a great shot AS PASTA's keeper Vilhelm Bäckström was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 31st minute, Viktor Pihlgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Nykvist was the one to do the kick off. In the 61st match minute, Söderköping IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Berggren to maneuver through the defense. Bengt-Åke Björling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Nykvist in the 62nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Jim Andberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vilhelm Bäckström was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Ingvar Ekelund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
