Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luciano Contratas started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Ulrik Frisck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerzy Sala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerzy Sala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulrik Frisck in the 6th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Einar Lindkvist during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th minute, Einar Lindkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the game, Henry Bredberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fighting Irish Notre Dame's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave fc hgld the free kick. Luciano Contratas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jens-Åke Jansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Luciano Contratas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jens-Åke Jansson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. fc hgld's Jens-Åke Jansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Contratas in the 39th minute of play. Henry Bredberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jens-Åke Jansson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henry Bredberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Luciano Contratas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jens-Åke Jansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ulrik Frisck made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Fighting Irish Notre Dame's goal looked a bit too open when Ulrik Frisck came free, but Jerzy Sala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerzy Sala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulrik Frisck in the 55th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luciano Contratas in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens-Åke Jansson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Fighting Irish Notre Dame booed when fc hgld was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Nordgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 60 minutes, Luciano Contratas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fighting Irish Notre Dame's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Contratas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. fc hgld's Jens-Åke Jansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save fc hgld from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute, Luciano Contratas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henry Bredberg kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Tomas Åkesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 89th minute, Fighting Irish Notre Dame's Luciano Contratas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Jens-Åke Jansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Contratas in the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Fighting Irish Notre Dame left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than fc hgld.
