Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) GOFFES IF's Patrick Bengtsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Patrick Bengtsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 5 minutes into the game, Kjell Ferm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frändefors IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GOFFES IF the free kick. After a rather tough play, Frändefors IFK's Kjell Ferm got a free kick in the 5th minute. After a defensive mix-up in GOFFES IF's zone, Bengt-Rune Fristedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Erik Wennerlund came out of the goal and Bengt-Rune Fristedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of GOFFES IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Frändefors IFK:s goal. After 17 minutes, Elof Gallin made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. GOFFES IF's Jan-Erik Wennerlund tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Patrick Bengtsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mats Dahlberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Patrick Bengtsson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 20th minute. Patrick Bengtsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Dahlberg having to interfere. Johan Alefors came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mats Dahlberg could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bengt-Rune Fristedt in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan-Erik Wennerlund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Johan Alefors blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mats Dahlberg having to make a save. Mats Dahlberg didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 43rd minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. In the 47th minute Elof Gallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Erik Wennerlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elof Gallin made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kalle Jansson during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jan-Erik Wennerlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elof Gallin in the 57th minute of the match. Elof Gallin was extremely unlucky when he, in the 60th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Henrik Wassenius fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GOFFES IF's protests and gave Henrik Wassenius a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, Henrik Wassenius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Elof Gallin came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Frändefors IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elof Gallin couldn't finish the play. Bengt-Rune Fristedt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Jan-Erik Wennerlund made a huge save. Patrick Bengtsson took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mats Dahlberg. Mats Dahlberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 83 minutes into the match, GOFFES IF's Patrick Bengtsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mats Dahlberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Johan Alefors scored 4-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mats Dahlberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jan-Erik Wennerlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elof Gallin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johan Alefors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
