Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ernst Kihlberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bror Bolin in the 2nd minute of play forced Älvkarleby's goalkeeper Paul Edström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Furuskog Atletiska Förbun's Tobias Löfdahl got a free kick in the 4th minute. Isak Hansson shot a long shot in the 5th minute and a light blocked Urban Stålman hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Älvkarleby's Ernst Kihlberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Urban Stålman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Furuskog Atletiska Förbun's Urban Stålman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Fribäck in the 17th minute of play. Åke Fribäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Urban Stålman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Furuskog Atletiska Förbun's goalkeeper Urban Stålman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paul Edström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bror Bolin in the 23rd minute of play. If Matthias Billström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Furuskog Atletiska Förbun's Bror Bolin in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Älvkarleby's goalie prevented a goal. Urban Stålman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernst Kihlberg's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Bengt Apelquist kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Ernst Kihlberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Urban Stålman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Matthias Billström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Paul Edström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernst Kihlberg in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Urban Stålman saved Furuskog Atletiska Förbun from getting behind. Urban Stålman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernst Kihlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Åke Fribäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urban Stålman having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

If Bror Bolin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lars-Erik Söderström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernst Kihlberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Urban Stålman came out and tried to block the shot, but Ernst Kihlberg slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 63rd minute. A collision led to Älvkarleby getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Lars-Erik Söderström hit a great ball. Matthias Billström might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paul Edström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matthias Billström ran back to his position shaking his head. Paul Edström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthias Billström, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Åke Fribäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Urban Stålman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ernst Kihlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Älvkarleby walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
