When Marcus Högberg came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Vällingby AIF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Högberg couldn't finish the play. Vilhelm Ivarsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Uno Wik having to make a save. A collision led to IFK AIDS getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Per-Åke Brask hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Marcus Högberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johannes Clementsson. IFK AIDS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcus Högberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 13 played minutes IFK AIDS got a freekick which was hit by Calle Åberg. Villiam Hägglund charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Villiam Hägglund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 minutes, Sture Norberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vällingby AIF and the IFK AIDS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20 played minutes Vällingby AIF got a freekick which was hit by Sture Norberg. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vilhelm Ivarsson got free with Uno Wik in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the game, Mark Burman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Uno Wik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 33rd minute Aaron Strömberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johannes Clementsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Vällingby AIF's goalkeeper Uno Wik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vilhelm Ivarsson. Vällingby AIF's Uno Wik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Vällingby AIF from getting a goal against them. Örjan Alrot kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Marcus Högberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
