In the 5th minute Eddie Åström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uno Wik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Kolsuparna BK fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Kolsuparna BK's Lars Påk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Högberg got free with Kennet Möllgren in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kolsuparna BK's Kennet Möllgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Strömberg in the 15th minute of play. Vällingby AIF's Uno Wik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Påk in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kolsuparna BK's Harry Vik got a free kick in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Kolsuparna BK's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Strömberg came free, but Kennet Möllgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uno Wik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddie Åström, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kolsuparna BK's goalkeeper Kennet Möllgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 35 minutes into the game, one of Kolsuparna BK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to Kolsuparna BK getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Kurt Nyström hit a great ball. Kennet Möllgren acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 40th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rolf Gustavsson. Uno Wik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Vik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aaron Strömberg to make the kick off. Kurt Nyström hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Lars Påk fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Uno Wik, passed just outside the right post. Aaron Strömberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Kennet Möllgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcus Högberg struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Kennet Möllgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vällingby AIF. Andreas Byström hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Vällingby AIF's Uno Wik got control of the ball when Eddie Åström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcus Högberg scored 2-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kennet Möllgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kolsuparna BK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
