Kennet Möllgren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Harry Vik hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Eddie Åström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Clementsson having to interfere. Eddie Åström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lars Påk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Johannes Clementsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Per-Åke Brask hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Beckman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Johannes Clementsson. IFK AIDS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eddie Åström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Johannes Clementsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Kolsuparna BK's Lars Påk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Johannes Clementsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Johannes Clementsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddie Åström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Kurt Nyström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vilhelm Ivarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vilhelm Ivarsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Kennet Möllgren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 45 minutes, Christian Sundberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IFK AIDS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Sundberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Richard Beckman hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lars Påk to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Christian Sundberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kennet Möllgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Christian Sundberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kennet Möllgren was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. 63 minutes into the match, Kolsuparna BK's goal looked a bit too open when Vilhelm Ivarsson came free, but Kennet Möllgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eddie Åström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lars Påk might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Johannes Clementsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lars Påk ran back to his position shaking his head. George Bolin's late challenge caught a IFK AIDS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. George Bolin helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Kolsuparna BK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of IFK AIDS:s goal. In the 74th minute there was a penalty for IFK AIDS. Ted Adelsköld stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kennet Möllgren. 2-2. In the 79th play minute Eddie Åström came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Johannes Clementsson. 2-3. In the 86th minute, IFK AIDS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eddie Åström fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Vilhelm Ivarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Kennet Möllgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to IFK AIDS getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Mark Burman hit a great ball. When Kolsuparna BK's Lars Påk in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye IFK AIDS's goalie prevented a goal. In the 96th minute, Mark Burman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Kolsuparna BK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than IFK AIDS throughout the match.
