In the 5th minute, Elof Wahlström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Johannes Lundström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bäckefors IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Johannes Lundström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Arne Bocklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Johannes Lundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sigvard Norberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Arne Bocklund having to interfere. The supporters of Bäckefors IF booed when Svartsjö FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Frykberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bäckefors IF's Malcolm Asklöv couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Svartsjö FK. Bäckefors IF's Johannes Lundström got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfons Tomasson hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Sigvard Norberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 37 minutes, Olof Sjö mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bäckefors IF and the Svartsjö FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Olof Sjö hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38thth minute of the game Kurt Kaxe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bäckefors IF's Ingvar Nyström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Kurt Kaxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Sigvard Norberg made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Svartsjö FK getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Mikael Britz hit a great ball. Sven-Arne Bocklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigvard Norberg in the 57th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Kurt Kaxe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Svartsjö FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bäckefors IF the free kick. Kurt Kaxe kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Johannes Lundström fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sven-Arne Bocklund, passed just outside the right post. 64 minutes into the match, Svartsjö FK's goal looked a bit too open when Sigvard Norberg came free, but Sven-Arne Bocklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bäckefors IF's zone, Svante Vennerberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingvar Nyström came out of the goal and Svante Vennerberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sigvard Norberg struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Sven-Arne Bocklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bäckefors IF. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sigvard Norberg in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Arne Bocklund saved Svartsjö FK from getting behind. 92 minutes into the match, Bäckefors IF's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Kaxe came free, but Ingvar Nyström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, Bäckefors IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoffer Söderqvist to maneuver through the defense. Bäckefors IF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
