After having played for 32 minutes, Karl-Ove Thedin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Klövsjö BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Ove Thedin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingvar Linquist during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Klövsjö BK got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Linquist. Karl-Ove Thedin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Richard Wallgren hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Kennet Valström sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Kjell-Arne Eskilsson threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Kennet Valström this time. Håkan Biörk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kjell-Arne Eskilsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Kasper Clementsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alf Arenstedt having to interfere. Leif Pihlwall struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Alf Arenstedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Munkfors IK. 76 minutes into the game, Leif Pihlwall cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Alf Arenstedt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eric Nyström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell-Arne Eskilsson having to interfere. The Munkfors IK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
