Rolf Holmberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Casper Österlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Casper Österlund successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Vilhelm Felin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Wallin having to interfere. Brian Dahlberg hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. When Färnäs's Robin Hegg in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Robin Hegg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Österlund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. 1-1 became the score in the 42nd minute when Sven-Oskar Jespersson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Pelle Ström scored 1-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nils Wallin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingvar Winström during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nils Wallin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Casper Österlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Hegg in the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Färnäs's goalkeeper Nils Wallin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Robin Hegg might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Casper Österlund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robin Hegg ran back to his position shaking his head. Eskil Josefsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Nils Wallin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nils Wallin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vilhelm Felin in the 75th minute. The supporters of Virestad booed when Färnäs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svante Jelm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robin Hegg scored 2-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casper Österlund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 94 minutes into the game, Pelle Ström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. When the final whistle went the supporters of Virestad were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Färnäs side.
