Robert Lundström scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Josef Broberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in FC Guuudis's zone, Malte Wassenius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The coaching staff of FC Guuudis protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Emanuel Åhlberg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Chants of FC Guuudis echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Timrå BOIS had held the ball for most of the match.
