The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Måns Myr managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jonsered BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Måns Myr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conny Hasselqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 3rd minute of the game, Claes Hultstrand landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Ingemar Spetz's late challenge caught a Jonsered BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ingemar Spetz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th minute, Ingemar Spetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Köpingebro's zone, Måns Myr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conny Hasselqvist came out of the goal and Måns Myr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. August Blanck's late challenge caught a Köpingebro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. August Blanck helped the player get up and apologised. August Blanck kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes, Köpingebro's Vilhelm Burman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ola Hamnberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Köpingebro reached it. If August Blanck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Jonsered BK booed when Köpingebro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ola Lundin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Köpingebro's goalkeeper Conny Hasselqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st match minute, Köpingebro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Drewitz to maneuver through the defense. When Ola Lundin fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Köpingebro's protests and gave Ola Lundin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Jonsered BK booed when Köpingebro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ola Lundin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conny Hasselqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Måns Myr in the 27th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Axel Ryberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Köpingebro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jonsered BK the free kick. The supporters of Jonsered BK booed when Köpingebro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Ryberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 played minutes Jonsered BK got a freekick which was hit by Simon Zachrisson. During the 34th minute of the match August Blanck completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave August Blanck a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 35 played minutes Jonsered BK got a freekick which was hit by August Blanck. Axel Ryberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ola Hamnberg having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Jonsered BK's Alfons Pihlwall got a free kick in the 38th minute. If Hampus Nordström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ola Hamnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Ryberg in the 48th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Måns Myr to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Ola Hamnberg managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Köpingebro's Axel Ryberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 56 played minutes Jonsered BK got a freekick which was hit by Simon Zachrisson. The audience thought a goal was coming when Linus Markusson got free with Ola Hamnberg in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Jonsered BK's Ola Hamnberg got control of the ball when Axel Ryberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Axel Ryberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ola Hamnberg having to interfere. After 63 played minutes Jonsered BK got a freekick which was hit by Måns Myr. Thomas Drewitz hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After 71 played minutes, Jonsered BK's Magne Falkrantz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Conny Hasselqvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Måns Myr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Conny Hasselqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ola Hamnberg made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Axel Ryberg sent off a good shot on target. Köpingebro succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Jonsered BK had controlled the match.
