After a rather tough play, Malmudden AIK's Ingmar Lindqvist got a free kick in the 13th minute. Arne Widberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morgan Backman in the 16th minute of play. When Morgan Backman came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Knislinge IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Morgan Backman couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute of the match Mark Göransson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arne Widberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arne Widberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Söder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Knislinge IF booed when Malmudden AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. If Hannes Wassenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 100 minutes into the match, Malmudden AIK's Hannes Wassenius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Kling narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Knislinge IF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
