Hooligans's Ola Esbjörnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Eklund in the 22nd minute of play. In the 32nd minute Vilhelm Åkesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgos Platis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, George Wennerström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shit Happens's supporters crossed their fingers, but George Wennerström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 36 played minutes Hooligans got a freekick which was hit by Vilhelm Åkesson. When Victor Eklund came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Shit Happens fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Eklund couldn't finish the play. Victor Eklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ola Esbjörnsson having to interfere. Giorgos Platis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krister Nyman, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Giorgos Platis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Lindström in the 43rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Åke Grep kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ola Esbjörnsson. That made the score 1-0 in the 48 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Fredrik Lindström was extremely unlucky when he, in the 54th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Giorgos Platis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter Rang in the 59th minute. Krister Nyman's late challenge caught a Shit Happens's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Krister Nyman helped the player get up and apologised. Krister Nyman hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Hooligans's goal looked a bit too open when Leif Tunander came free, but Ola Esbjörnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 played minutes Hooligans got a freekick which was hit by Peter Rang. Ola Esbjörnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Eklund in the 65th minute of the match. Victor Eklund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ola Esbjörnsson having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Hooligans's zone, George Wennerström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ola Esbjörnsson came out of the goal and George Wennerström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. George Wennerström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 78 played minutes Shit Happens got a freekick which was hit by Leif Tunander. George Wennerström might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ola Esbjörnsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. George Wennerström ran back to his position shaking his head. Victor Eklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ola Esbjörnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Shit Happens booed when Hooligans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredrik Lindström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giorgos Platis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Lindström in the 86th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Eklund in the 87th minute of play forced Hooligans's goalkeeper Ola Esbjörnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, George Wennerström made a precise shot to the right of Ola Esbjörnsson. Hooligans's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Ola Esbjörnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Wennerström, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute.
