The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Skivarp BK booed when Tvärred was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Kjellqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute, one of Tvärred:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tvärred. The referee gave Skivarp BK a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fabian Törnqvist, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tvärred's Per-Oskar Kellbom. 0-1. In the 11th minute Magnus Palm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Oskar Kellbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 played minutes Tvärred got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Telin. Magnus Palm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Magnus Palm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Per-Oskar Kellbom was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Henrik Rudberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christopher Strömberg having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tvärred's Fredrik Telin got a free kick in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Arne Göransson in the 43rd minute of play forced Tvärred's goalkeeper Per-Oskar Kellbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henrik Rudberg made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Benjamin Ivarsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skivarp BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tvärred the free kick. Benjamin Ivarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Aleksander Winszman sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Skivarp BK's Christopher Strömberg didn't even have to move. After 57 played minutes Tvärred got a freekick which was hit by Per Brander. Bengt-Arne Göransson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Per-Oskar Kellbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Per Brander fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tvärred's protests and gave Per Brander a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th match minute, Tvärred was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Brander to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Rudberg in the 63rd minute of play forced Skivarp BK's goalkeeper Christopher Strömberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per-Oskar Kellbom had great luck who in the 68thth minute grab hold of the ball when Bengt-Arne Göransson from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When Herbert Kjellqvist fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tvärred's protests and gave Herbert Kjellqvist a yellow card for diving instead. Per-Oskar Kellbom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Magnus Palm in the 78th minute. Christopher Strömberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Svensson in the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Skivarp BK's Bengt-Arne Göransson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Bengt-Arne Göransson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Magnus Palm got free with Per-Oskar Kellbom in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Magnus Palm succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 89th playminute. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Magnus Palm got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Benjamin Ivarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
