Börje Siöman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernt Abrahamsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Bernt Abrahamsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Börje Siöman. Träslövläge IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernt Abrahamsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Träslövläge IF's goalkeeper Börje Siöman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bernt Abrahamsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Börje Siöman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernt Abrahamsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Maximilian Engström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dick Lindsten having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Träslövläge IF's Maximilian Engström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dick Lindsten narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Stig-Ove Lundström fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Börje Siöman, passed just outside the right post.
