Greger Molanders short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Kenneth Käcker to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mårten Åkerberg's late challenge caught a Markim Orkesta IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mårten Åkerberg helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Markim Orkesta IF's Greger Molander got a free kick in the 7th minute. Kent Walroth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Eriksson having to interfere. Erik Eriksson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kent Walroth went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Markim Orkesta IF booed when Lingbo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elof Lind didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes in the game, Ronny Torstensson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Kenneth Käcker having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, Emil Örtendal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lingbo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Markim Orkesta IF the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lingbo's Emil Örtendal got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Kenneth Käcker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Greger Molander in the 23rd minute. In the 38th minute, Villiam Mellbad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute, Kent Walroth ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erik Eriksson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Kent Walroth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kent Walroth to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Markim Orkesta IF booed when Lingbo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Walroth didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Markim Orkesta IF! In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Lingbo. Olov Felin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Erik Eriksson. 0-3. Kent Walroth was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. Lingbo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Villiam Mellbad got free with Erik Eriksson in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Lingbo getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Mårten Åkerberg hit a great ball. Erik Eriksson came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Lingbo's Villiam Mellbad. But to his dismay, Villiam Mellbad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Greger Molander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth Käcker having to interfere. Kent Walroth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Erik Eriksson made a huge save. Erik Eriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Walroth in the 91st minute of the match. Kent Walroth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erik Eriksson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play.
