Sune Bergman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Boris Harman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sune Bergman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Boris Harman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sune Bergman in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, FC Smulan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valter Kvist to maneuver through the defense. When Kilafors's Lennart Johansson in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Smulan's goalie prevented a goal. Boris Harman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Johansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Lennart Johansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilafors's supporters rose to their feet, but Lennart Johansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boris Harman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute, Lennart Johansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kilafors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lennart Johansson to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, FC Smulan's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Johansson came free, but Boris Harman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Sune Bergman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boris Harman came out and tried to block the shot, but Lennart Johansson slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 80th minute. In the 89th minute, Sune Bergman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Boris Harman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lennart Johansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Rickard Lindqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rickard Lindqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Kilafors getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Rickard Lindqvist hit a great ball. Kilafors's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
