In the 15th minute, Melker Larsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Munkfors BF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Melker Larsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Axel Kielberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Martin Jelm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kjell Fagrell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Billy Hamnberg having to make a save. Oskar Persson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melker Larsson in the 41st minute of the match. In the 45th minute of the match, Kjell Fagrell got a very nice opportunity to score, but Billy Hamnberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Jelm to strike the kick off in the second half. Kjell Fagrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billy Hamnberg having to interfere. Billy Hamnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell Fagrell in the 55th minute of the match. Billy Hamnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell Fagrell in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell Fagrell in the 61st minute of play forced Munkfors BF's goalkeeper Billy Hamnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Munkfors BF's Billy Hamnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulf Källberg in the 64th minute of play. Billy Hamnberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Jelm went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 68 minutes into the match, Munkfors BF's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Jelm came free, but Billy Hamnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Billy Hamnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell Fagrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kjell Fagrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billy Hamnberg having to interfere. If Kjell Fagrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Åke Glanselius's late challenge caught a Stockaryd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Åke Glanselius helped the player get up and apologised. Åke Glanselius hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 82nd match minute, Munkfors BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göran Frykberg to maneuver through the defense. Kjell Fagrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billy Hamnberg having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Martin Jelm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stockaryd's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Jelm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Billy Hamnberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Kjell Fagrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 minutes of play, Stockaryd's Ulf Källberg made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Billy Hamnberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Stockaryd were the better team. Stockaryd's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
