Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sunnemo FF's Ivar Vacker started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ingvar Mårtensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Biörling in the 3rd minute of the match. Vansbro's Adrian Nordström got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Sunnemo FF's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Biörling came free, but Ingvar Mårtensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kjell Tillman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivar Vacker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the game, Sunnemo FF's Vilhelm Abrahamsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kjell Tillman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Arne Biörling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Mårtensson having to interfere. Adrian Nordström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Ingvar Mårtensson made a huge save. Vansbro's Arne Biörling got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adrian Nordström in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ingvar Mårtensson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 47th minute Vilhelm Abrahamsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Tillman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arne Biörling stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ingvar Mårtensson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrian Nordström's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Nordström couldn't finish the play. Arne Biörling's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ingvar Mårtensson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. If Adrian Nordström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Adrian Nordström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ingvar Mårtensson came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Vansbro's Arne Biörling. But to his dismay, Arne Biörling quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Alvin Månsson struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Ingvar Mårtensson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vansbro. In the 95th minute Adrian Nordström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Mårtensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Arne Biörling came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Vansbro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arne Biörling couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that Vansbro were the better team. Vansbro's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
