Hubert Ståhlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christopher Mårtensson having to interfere. Christopher Mårtensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torgny Engström in the 10th minute of the match. If Hampus Isaksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Gunnar Magnusson made a precise shot to the right of Sigvard Alkvist. Veddige FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 22 minutes into the match, Veddige FK's goal looked a bit too open when Hampus Isaksson came free, but Sigvard Alkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Veddige FK defense, Gunnar Magnusson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sigvard Alkvist. The Veddige FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sigvard Alkvist should have stopped the shot. Fredrik Forsberg hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Gunnar Magnusson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigvard Alkvist having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gunnar Magnusson got free with Sigvard Alkvist in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gunnar Magnusson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sigvard Alkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hampus Isaksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Vejbystrand FK's zone, Torgny Engström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christopher Mårtensson came out of the goal and Torgny Engström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hampus Isaksson made a kick off. Hubert Ståhlberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hubert Ståhlberg in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Christopher Mårtensson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. André Molander hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Hubert Ståhlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Christopher Mårtensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sigvard Alkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gunnar Magnusson's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. After 80 played minutes Veddige FK got a freekick which was hit by Georg Lövgren. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Hampus Isaksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vejbystrand FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Hampus Isaksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sigvard Alkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Torgny Engström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christopher Mårtensson having to interfere. Hubert Ståhlberg in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Christopher Mårtensson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 93 minutes into the match, Veddige FK's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Magnusson came free, but Sigvard Alkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fredrik Forsberg's late challenge caught a Vejbystrand FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fredrik Forsberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th match minute, Veddige FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredrik Forsberg to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Veddige FK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vejbystrand FK.
